The following are various writing samples from the AT&T Community Forums:

Hurricane Response
In preparation for Hurricane Matthew, we've topped off generators at our cell sites with fuel. The sites are equipped with high-capacity back-up batteries. We have staged emergency response equipment in strategic locations, if needed.  Our national reliability center is monitoring outages for quick action.

AT&T is also crediting Wireline and Wireless customers for all calls and text messages from the USA to Haiti, Jamaica, Bahamas, Bermuda and Turks & Caicos between 10/3/2016 to 10/7/2016 in the local time zone.

Our thoughts are with all of those who are impacted by this storm.

Terrorist Attack Response
As many of you know, there was an attack in Barcelona earlier today.

Our thoughts are with the people of Barcelona and our customers who have friends and family there.

AT&T will waive or credit charges incurred for calls placed and texts sent by AT&T’s customers between the United States to Barcelona from August 17 to August 19 in the local time zone. This includes landline, texting, and mobility (postpaid and GoPhone) calls

As with any emergency, text messaging is recommended due to the possibility of network congestion in the local area.

Conclusion to a Knowledge-Sharing Event

Thank you all for your participation in this thread!

There were some fantastic discussions and items raised. We understand it's frustrating when we don't have answers to all the questions asked but we are following up on a number of open items and – as soon as we get additional information – we will be updating this thread. In addition, there are a number of takeaways that we have collected as feedback so we can continue to improve the user experience.

For those that still have ongoing and open discussions, please open a separate thread, and we will continue to troubleshoot those issues with you.

We’d especially like to thank our ACEs for this ongoing participation both in this event and on the AT&T Community Forums. Thank you, @Gary L, @GLIMMERMAN76, @JefferMC, @litzdog911, @lizdance40, and @RhodesMan!
